Ingredients
4 minute steaks
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat 1 tbsp. butter and a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan. Add the onions and cook over medium heat, stirring regularly, until golden and caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Add the balsamic vinegar, cook for a further 5 minutes, then set aside.
Season steaks with salt and pepper, then in the same pan, heat remaining butter and sear steaks for 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side.
