A Chateaubriand steak grilled to perfection, accompanied by a blend of fresh herbs for a simple, fresh meal.

Servings: 4

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Star ingredient: Chateaubriand fillet

Ingredients

  • 4 Châteaubriand fillets
  • 1 tbsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp. dried thyme
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a drizzle of vegetable oil over high heat.
  2. Rub the steaks with the rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper mixture, then sear for 2 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on desired doneness.
  3. Turn off the heat, add the butter to the pan, and baste the steaks with the melted butter.
  4. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes, then serve with seasonal vegetables or a fresh salad.
