Fresh, aromatic salmon steaks cooked with dill and lime for a light, zesty flavor.

Servings: 2-4

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Star ingredient: Salmon steak

Ingredients

 

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • Juice and zest of 2 limes
  • 3 tbsp. fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine lime juice and zest, dill, garlic powder and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place salmon steaks in an ovenproof dish.
  4. Pour the sauce over the salmon steaks, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes (turning halfway through), until the salmon is cooked through but still juicy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with lime wedges and fresh dill.
