A sweet and savory dish, combining the tenderness of pork with the sweetness of apples and the aroma of sage.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 pork tenderloins
  • 3 apples, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 10-15 fresh sage leaves
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Season pork tenderloins with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear pork tenderloins for 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Arrange apples, onion and sage in an ovenproof dish.
  5. Place the pork tenderloins on top of the apples and onions.
  6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until pork reaches at least 145°F of internal temperature.
  7. Cover and let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
