Spicy Kale Chips

Oven-baked kale for some spicy, crispy chips

Servings: 4

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

 

  • 1 bunch of kale, stems removed and leaves broken into pieces
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F, then line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the kale with the olive oil, making sure all the leaves are well coated.
  3. Add cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to evenly distribute the spices.
  4. Arrange kale leaves in a single layer on baking sheets.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, turning the chips halfway through, until crisp.
  6. Let cool completely before serving.
