A spicy, fragrant dish, this Thai-style minced pork, known as "Pad Kra Pao", is a blend of sweet, salty and spicy flavors, garnished with fresh basil and chili peppers.

Ingredients
450g ground pork
1 large bunch Thai basil
2 to 4 Thai chili peppers, finely sliced (adjust according to your preference)
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 shallot, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Instructions
Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat
Add garlic, shallot and chillies. Sauté, stirring constantly, until garlic is golden.
Add ground pork and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly, then add soy sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar. Stir well and continue cooking until the pork is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Remove from heat, add Thai basil and mix well.
Serve over rice, garnished with fresh Thai basil if desired.
